During the application process, you will be asked to declare your chosen academic programme. This is an important step as it will determine the academic plan that you will follow as a student here. As an undergraduate student, you can choose from the following programme levels:

Associate Degree:

The associate degree programme is designed for students who seek a 2-year degree as either their final degree in higher education or the foundation for further study at the bachelor's level. If your plan is to someday seek the bachelor's degree, it is recommended that you declare a bachelor's degree programme instead of the associate degree. The associate degree programmes at Cherub College range from 60 - 67 credit hours.

Bachelor's Degree:

A bachelor's degree is designed for students who seek the traditional 4-year degree commonly recognized as the standard credential of higher education in North America and most industrialized nations. This degree is most often pursued by students who possess a high school diploma or equivalent. The bachelor's degree programmes at Cherub College range from 120-136 credit hours.

Undergraduate Diploma:

The undergraduate diploma provides a focused study option on a particular topic or set of issues. The curriculum is more concentrated than an associate or bachelor's degree and it is typically taken by students who may already have an undergraduate degree but seek more specific knowledge in a subject area. Undergraduate diploma programmes range from 18-30 credit hours and can usually be completed within one year.

Admission Requirements:

  • All undergraduate programmes require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • All undergraduate degree programmes require a minimum of 3 BGCSE's with passing scores. Comparable entrance qualifications such as the SAT or CXC will be considered in lieu of the BGCSE.
  • All undergraduate programmes require the successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent. If you have previous college experience, you are required to submit official transcripts from other schools where you have earned academic credit.
